1 University Blvd., St. Louis, Mo. 63121-4400

Benton Hall (BH) is the historic heart of UMSL's science complex on North Campus, originally built in 1966 as the university's first science building and fully renovated in 2018 for modern learning. Connected to Stadler Hall, Research Building, and other science facilities on the southwest edge, it houses key departments including Biology, Chemistry & Biochemistry, and Physics & Astronomy, with flexible lecture halls, seminar rooms, collaborative study spaces, advanced teaching/research labs, and student support areas. This upgraded facility supports hands-on science education, daily research, and academic success while overlooking scenic Bugg Lake.
