Professor Eamonn Wall and Professor Laura Miller will review some of the most popular American media productions of the last 60 years that showcased Ireland or Japan as the setting. What did they get right? What was unforgivably cringeworthy?

This event is a joint presentation of the Smurfit-Stone Corporation Professorship in Irish Studies and the Ei'ichi Shibusawa-Seigo Arai Professorship in Japanese Studies.
