In an evening dedicated to revolutionary style, sound and ideas, the ASQ presents three masterpieces, by Prokofiev, Debussy and Dvorak, whose innovations in expression helped spark the boundless creativity of the 20^th century.  Prokofiev’s Quartet No.2 opens the concert with irrepressible folk-inspired sounds of the Caucasus Mountains, and is followed by Debussy’s String Quartet in G minor, where influences of world-music and exoticism blend to create a tapestry of color, light and energy.  Dvorak’s Quartet in A-flat Major, Op.105 closes the evening with a journey through lush melodies and harmonies that are full of nostalgic reflection and inspiring optimism.  Don’t miss this evening of unforgettable music!
