 ment Association\, I would like to invite you to the 14th annual Campus Sa
 fe Walk on Monday\, October 21\, 2024\, at 7:00 pm\, Century Rooms. Fourte
 en years ago\, students from Residential Life and Housing and the Student 
 Government Association created the Campus Safe Walk in response to a sexua
 l assault that occurred on south campus. They believed then – as we do n
 ow – that through the collaboration of students\, faculty\, and staff\, 
 UMSL could be made a safer place for our campus community to learn and liv
 e. The first Campus Safe Walk was an overwhelming success\, and it establi
 shed the foundation for the program we have today which invites our campus
  stakeholders to come together with the shared purpose of creating an even
  better UMSL. I hope that you will consider joining us for this very impor
 tant UMSL event. I know your attendance will be appreciated by the UMSL co
 mmunity.
