Campus Safe Walk

Do you study at the library late at night? Work into the wee hours in the SSB computer lab? Hang out in the MSC until past dark? Head to the Rec Center before the sun comes up?

Join the Student Government Association, Residential Life and Housing, and UMSL PD for our annual Campus Safewalk. The Campus Safewalk provides the opportunity for UMSL students, faculty, staff and administration to join together to walk the campus together, taking note of opportunities to provide recommendations for changes to the grounds, lighting, paths, etc.

Participants head out on campus and walk 10 different predetermined paths to provide feedback to SGA. SGA then compiles the feedback provided and submits its annual Safety Report to the Chancellor, Provost, Vice Chancellors, Chief of Police, and Associate/Assistant Vice Chancellors.
