The humanities seek to understand the human world and societies, from our ordinary, everyday experiences to grand, global geopolitics.

UMSL faculty and students from across the university are working together to sponsor several events under a broad umbrella and theme.

During Humanities Week, join us in a series of conversations, hands on experiences, and career panels as we use the lens of the humanities and arts to explore and blur the lines, borders, and boundaries that have made us, divided us, and hold the promise for a more inclusive future in which all can thrive and prosper. All Students, Faculty, Staff, and Alumni are welcome!
