Yesim Demiroglu from California State University at Sacramento will be giving a colloquium talk titled "A Short Journey to Waring’s Problem and Sum-Product Formulas"  This will be a talk accessible to undergraduates and graduate students in mathematics alike.  Coffee/tea will be served at 2:30 prior to the event.
