New Student Orientation (NSO)

You're admitted? Now What?

All new first-time college students must confirm, pay their enrollment confirmation fee, and complete an orientation prior to classes beginning. You can learn more about your New Student Checklist and Orientation at umsl.edu/orientation.

NSO is mandatory for all first-time college students. At NSO, you'll meet with an academic advisor to develop your academic schedule, obtain a TritonCard [the university student ID card], get your parking permit and Metro pass, and have a chance to reserve textbooks from the TritonStore, and interact with current students, staff and faculty.

If you are a transfer student, please view our Transfer Student Orientations (TSO) dates at umsl.edu/orientation.
