UMSL Online Teaching Certification Seminar, Fall 2025 Session 6: October 6 – November 17, 2025

All UMSL faculty/instructors teaching online are required to take the Online Teaching Certification Seminar (OTCS). The seminar supports the UM System-wide requirement that instructors teaching online courses be certified before teaching online, and Online Teaching Recertification meets the requirement that recertification occur every five years. Join over 3,500 certified instructors in the UM System to deliver quality online learning experiences. As an added bonus, the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) has endorsed the seminar.

The October cohort begins on MONDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2025. This is a six-week, asynchronous seminar course with weekly due dates.
