The competition is on! Decorate a pumpkin in whatever way you can think of whether that's painting, carving, gluing stuff on, or anything else. The only requirement is that it's somehow physics and/or astronomy themed. You could carve F=ma into the pumpkin or paint a black hole on it, whatever inspires you most!

Submissions will be judged based off of creativity. Once you've finished your pumpkin, take a picture of it and either upload it to the discord server or upload to Instagram using the hashtag #UMSLphysicspumpkin.

The deadline will be 10:31am on Halloween morning (this Saturday). Once all of the submissions are in, we'll post a collage of the submissions (if you have a problem with your picture being used for any reason, let me know) and announce our winner in its own post.

There will also be a Zoom meeting this Friday at 12:30pm for people to get together and work on their pumpkins together.
