This keynote address will detail the anti-LGBTQ+ legislation from a local, national, and global perspective and in-spite of the attacks, how we will find joy and celebrate our lives in community. We will discuss how social workers can engage in this work, what roles they play, as well as what the social justice call looks like now in the world we live in. After the keynote address, we will have a panel discussion from community leaders who are currently fighting for social justice and equality in the LGBTQ+ community.
