The Big Event! is a one-day service project sponsored by SGA and UMSL Students of Service where we generally engage 75 or more students, staff, and faculty at one location to serve for approximately three hours, typically from 10-1. We provide the tools (within reason and budget) and people-power to accomplish the project. Join us in serving Junior League of St. Louis with their annual diaper drive. Volunteers will be helping collect items from donors, sorting diapers by size, breaking down boxes of diapers if needed, storing in the truck, recording the donations by item type, quantity and size. Shirts will be allocated by priority based on registration date. We cannot guarantee your size will be available.
Registration starts at 8:30 and departure is at 9:30. The actual time volunteering will be approximately 10-1 with lunch following upon your arrival to campus. Hours are tracked.
Volunteers must be at least 13 years of age and minors must be accompanied by an adult. Non-UMSL volunteers can register at forms.gle/hyufRzySgrHebvFQ8.

About the Site: The Junior League of St. Louis is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
