"Those" students are your students: Making classrooms equitable with accommodations for disabilities

Our students who receive accommodations during the primary and secondary education programs do not "grow out" of those needs when they begin their journey in higher education. Although accommodations do not continue to be federally enforced through individualized educational plans or Section 504 agreements, university instructors are required to provide accommodations as determined by the Disability Access Services division on campus. Faculty and staff must do their part to support the university's compliance, which is the direct result of doing the right thing for students with disabilities.

This program will provide practical tools and sources to help when questions arise, or guidance is needed.

Attendance is free, but registration is required.
