UMSL Fall Clothing Swaps

Upgrade your wardrobe without breaking the bank - the UMSL Fall Clothing Swaps are back!!

Please note we’ll have new procedures in place, and we kindly request everyone’s patience as we set up the space so it’s safe for all. We also ask that you take a moment to pre-register. {Find the links to pre-register on the UMSL Campus Calendar or complete your RSVP using this page on MyEngage.}

Clothing swaps are a great way to clean out your closet! We would prefer to accept donations for the swap ahead of time instead of the day of the swap. We are collecting clothing donations the week before on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:00 - 1:00PM. You can drop out gently used items then at our table in the MSC. Contact us if you have any questions about what can be donated. Obviously, this works best when lots of people participate so there are lots of clothes to choose from, in all sizes, styles, & colors... but .... You don't have to donate to pick up clothes at the swap! Even if you weren't able to drop off something the week before, you're still welcome to come "shop" at the swap.

This year we'll hope to have enough clothes to host a "Children's Corner" at the swap, sponsored by UMSL Student Social Services. There is also usually a business clothing section too, so you can spruce up before job seeking!

Stop by to pick out some new duds to take home and keep clothing out of the landfill! Please contact us at sustainability@umsl.edu if you have any questions! #nofastfashion
