What to Expect:
This event provides a platform for students and educators like you to engage in an open discussion with peers from the U.S, Brazil, and other countries. We'll explore two topics, and participants will get together in breakout rooms to interact with global peers. Breakout rooms will be spaces for sharing perspectives and exchanging ideas on how languages, cultures, and human mobility affect our schools and lives.
The agenda includes two short presentations (conversation starters), group discussions, and opportunities to learn from one another.
Why Participate:
- Cultural Exchange: Connect with students and teachers from diverse backgrounds and gain insights into their experiences, language practices, and points of view.
- Global Perspectives: Broaden your worldview by discussing important education issues from multiple perspectives.
- Networking: Build international friendships and expand your network, fostering connections that may last a long time.
- Personal Growth: Challenge yourself to think critically about your role as a global citizen and educator and consider how you can positively impact multilingual communities and classrooms.
How to Register:
Spaces are limited, so we encourage you to register whenever you get a chance!
We look forward to your participation in this enriching experience as we come together to explore what it means to be a global citizen.
