The Department of Communication & Media at UMSL investigates the construction, delivery, and perception of messages. Our curriculum covers a broad range of content areas, including health communication, digital media, media production, advertising, public relations, and more traditional areas of study such as interpersonal, organizational, intercultural, and mass communication.
