The J.C. Penney Building (JCP), a historic conference center on UMSL's North Campus, is being renovated through the $110 million Transform UMSL initiative. The north section will house the College of Optometry and its modern labs, classrooms, and offices, as well as the 1,000-square-foot Richter Family Welcome and Alumni Center. The Alumni Center will serve as a gateway for prospective students and includes the Office of Admissions, campus tours, and the offices of the UMSL Alumni Association.
